Client's Feedback

GOT ANY QUESTIONS?
What is so good about kombucha? Why is it good for the gut?
It contains little sugar, no artificial sweeteners, and is a healthy alternative to alcohol, soda, and energy drinks. Due to the content of acids and bacteria, many people experience that it has a positive effect on digestion.
What is fermentation?
Fermentation is a natural process where microorganisms, like bacteria and yeast, break down sugars into other compounds such as alcohol, gases, or acids. In the case of kombucha, a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) ferments sweet tea, converting the sugars into beneficial acids and carbon dioxide (creating fizziness). This process creates kombucha’s tangy flavor and probiotic benefits.
Does kombucha contain sugar?
Yes, but very little! 3-5%. There must always be sugar when the fermentation starts, but in the final product, after 2-4 weeks of fermentation, there's not much left.
Is it pasteurized?
No, and that's why it must be stored in the fridge at all times. If left in a warm place, fermentation can restart, causing extra carbonation in the bottle (which in the worst case could cause the bottle to break).
Can pregnant and nursing women / sick people / children drink it?
Yes, but if you haven’t drunk it before, start slowly to see how your body reacts, and gradually increase the amount.
Does it contain alcohol?
A small amount of alcohol is always produced during fermentation, but it's so little that it is considered alcohol-free.
When should you drink it?
Anytime!
